Living in drought-stricken California, it was especially nice to be “home” in vibrant, lush, Washington state last week to visit family. One of the highlights of our trip was leaving Toddler with Grandma and escaping up to Mount Rainier for a day hike. The wildflowers were in full bloom and we got to stretch our legs at a pace we can’t touch when one of us has to carry 28-pound Toddler in her child-hauler backpack. Here are a few pictures from that beautiful day.
